Michelle Sanit is an undergraduate student at the University of North Texas honor's college. Currently a senior, she majors in International Studies with a primary focus on international politics and diplomacy and a secondary focus on regional studies of the Middle East and North Africa. She intends to minor in Arabic and recently returned from study abroad in Morocco. She also volunteers as a family mentor with the International Rescue Committee, helping Iraqi refugees adjust to their new lives in Dallas, Texas. After graduation she plans to study in Cairo for a semester before entering graduate school.
